Yes, I have noticed, Newsvine, and in general, I like it. Looking at all the faces suddenly sprouting from heretofore ambiguous and abstract attempts at portraying one's innermost soul (myself included), is refreshing and makes me want to edit out some people in my friends list, balanced by a healthy desire to friend others. Nothing is more telling than my wanting to visit a portrait photography shop at the local mall to inquire about their services and pricing. I mean, all the super cute toddlers sitting on the white white beanbags! Is there any way I can use one for a prop? Because I don't want to use a dog. Maybe a Siberian tiger cub.
I could bulk up and get some ink on me. Maybe an Iron Maiden tat and post it, like that Luke guy, who I don't see posting anymore. I have been wondering though, how come so very few bodies? I have a suspicion that most Viners need to pay attention to their portion sizing, or, assuming they have health insurance, visit their dermatologist (myself included).
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I am re-thinking, or is it re-imagining, anyway, how am I gonna stack up to all of the faces and/or bodies? It's brings to the fore frightening images of self-worth. I mean, Keith Richards is a pretty good guitar player, but next to Sir Paul, he looks like a goatskin water holder left in the desert for about two centuries, A.D. (myself included).
So I like it and I hate it.
Damn you Newsvine!
